The progression of this young beach tennis player: Antomi Ramos from Canary Islands

Antomi in the First International Beach Tennis in Canary Islands in Las Palmas de G.C. in Las Canteras´s beach on March, 14-15

Antomi is a young Beach Tennis (BT) player with only 15 years old. He began to play BT two summers ago on July 2007 in the tournament of Volavi reaching the semifinal in the 3rd category in double men.

Soon he changed of partner and formed with Christian Mireles a solid couple winning in the next tournament of Volavi on July 2008 in the 3rd category in double men.

.

On September 2008, he played in the Barcelona´s international together to Nino and he got the final in consolation winning in semifinal to an italian couple and lost the final in the 3rd set in super tie break against Carlos Gunfaus and his partner.

On November 2008, he played together to Christian Mireles in the tournament of Approba in the 2nd category winning it.

.

On December 2008, he played in Prague forming couple with Octavio Santana, champion of Canary Islands 2007 and run up in 2008, and they got 3 games against Alessio De Paolis and Riccardo Gaia, and 1 game against Alex Mingozzi and Maurizio Di Cori.

Now in the next tournament of Aproba on May 2009 he is going to play at first time in the 1st category with Carlos Guerra as his partner. In spite of being neophite in this category, I augure they are one of my favourits to win it.

His strong point is his service and his strength of spirit. His service is very hard. You can appreciate that he comes from tennis, the good hand of his teacher Alfonso Pérez and Daniel Rodríguez is obvious.

I want to do a special mention to his parent that they give him all the posibilities to improve, Antomi as a friend our told me a few days ago, you should to kiss the places where they walk. Congratulation to your parents to be as they are, a great persons.
