Desde el Centro de formación ApPROBA les complace a invitarles al OPEN de Gran Canaria de tenis playa 2009, a celebrar del 1 al 3 de mayo en la playa de Las Canteras. Ya está abierta la inscripción.

Fecha del torneo: del 1 al 3 de mayo de 2009.
Lugar: Playa de Las Canteras (zona de La Puntilla).

Organizador: el Centro de formación ApPROBA.

Pistas previstas: 6.

Premios: dotación económica para la 1ª categoría masculina y la femenina, otros premios para el resto de las categorías y trofeos para todos los campeones y subcampeones de todas las categorías.

Three weeks later, we want to thank to every players of beach tennis who come to the First International of Beach Tennis in Canary Islands in Las Palmas of Gran Canaria in the Las Canteras´s beach on 14-15 March.

Especially to all players that taked an aeroplane or a boat to come here since different countries and places as Italy, Germany, Czeh Republic, Barcelona, Mallorca, Tenerife. Of course! To all the players of Gran Canaria that we had the pleasure of share a nice time playing beach tennis with new friends. Torneo Amateur Beach Tennis en Cubelles el 11 de Abril de 2009 por el Club Nàutic de Cubelles

Torneo Amateur Beach tennis en Cubelles

Se acerca el buen tiempo y con ello las nuevas iniciativas de torneos de beachtennis. La temporada empezó con nuestro primer torneo internacional de beach tennis, y ahora empiezan a haber iniciativas de torneos de diferentes ámbitos.

De nuevo, este año, desde la ciudad costera de Cubelles, Cataluña, se propone un torneo amateur de tenisplaya. Este torneo se celebrará aprovechando las vacaciones de Semana Santa el sábado día 11 de Abril a partir de las 10h de la mañana en el Club Nàutic de Cubelles.

El precio de la inscripción es de 15€ con comida incluída y en el caso de participar en una segunda categoría se debe abonar 5€ más. Disponéis de hasta el miércoles día 8 a las 20h para hacer la inscripción.

La organización anima a inscribirse a todas aquellas personas que quieran conocer el beachtennis así como a los jugadores habituales haciendo hincapié que en el momento de tramitar la inscripción notifiquen el nivel de juego ya que se realizarán dos cuadros diferenciados, uno amateur y otro más profesional.

World Cup Riccione Beach Tennis 2009 from 27th July to 2nd August

Vision, Rakkettone and Tom Caruso , a recent consortium of three importers of beach tennis racquets which will organize a Beach Tennis Tour throughout Italy in Summer 2009, among other goals.

Among other competitions, there will be an international tournament in Riccione (near Rimini) on the Adriatic Sea coast from 27th July to 2nd August. It is called “WORLD CUP RICCIONE BEACH TENNIS 2009”.

Every foreign nation willing to participate will be welcome. Everybody else willing to participate can choose amongst a list of hotels with convenient prices, duly discounted for the foreign teams. They are enclosing herewith the programme of the event.

Wellcome to the new Beach Tennis players

Carlos, Gonzalo, Wilson y Antomi in Las Alcaravaneras´s beach

We want to give the wellcome to the new players of beach tennis Wilson, Gonzalo, Eduardo, Carlos y Alberto that they will go far. Today Saturday they was playing since early in the morning and they will finish in the afternoon. I have been seeing them and they have a promising future.

Congratulacions to them, it seems they love this sport as we love it. They are going to play in the next local tournament in May since 1 to 3 in Las Canteras´beach and I augur them the success in the third category and inclusive far away in the second category in the double men.

On the other hand, a fantastic services on behalf of Gonzalo, Wilson and Carlos demostrating his high school of tennis in their hands. In spite of being neophytes in the beach tennis, they have just reached very quickly a good position in the court just like an agressive play.

Congratulations again, best luck to the tournament and have a funny time playing beach tennis,

Yes friends beach tennis players! We have confirmed the First WorldChampionships of beach tennis in Rome in the Foro Itálico on 4, 5, 6 May, in the same place where it has place the Master of tennis in Rome.The organization give you the advantage to transporting the players from the hotel to the fields.

Thanks to the organization. It will be a nice spectacle. I augur an enormous success so much in participating countries as in the quality of the players as the audience as the organization of the event. Tribute to my dear friend the journalist and tireless traveller italian Marco Ortolani

Marco Orlolani in the International of Beach Tennis in Las Palmas

I want to dedicate this article to ( "to" and not "for", "para" y no "por" :-) ) this lover of beach tennis, Marco Ortolani. I met him last year on December in Prague on the first International of Beach Tennis (BT). In fact we were going to play together in the double men but his unfortunately flue avoided it.

He is 41 years old ( I´m sorry Marco because now the women know the true ) and he is from Ravenna in the Adriatic´s Sea. His nickname is " The traveller " because he travells around the World seeing beach tennis competitions and he gives us updated news referred to BT.

My first impression was that he was so professional about what he writed through internet in his website http://www.ortoline.it/ concerned to BT. The time always gives or not the right. In this case the time confirmed me this first impression.

We again coincidence in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria in the First International of BT in Las Canteras´s beach on 14-15 March and once more he has been still most professional with 3 articles about this tournament and one of them only about stadistics. Incredible his job!. Thanks a lot.

Oce more with the time he has improved his way of doing his job. Congratulations! Besides he kept his word in Prague that it was that in the next tournament to do something more difficult, writing and playing at same time. He played with Jose Perdomo in Las Palmas. You reached your task, congratulations again!

I am brave to saying that he is one of the persons that has more knowledge aboput BT. He has a computer in his brain.

He has just done a fantastic interview to the champions Alex Mingozzi and Matteo Marighella that I recommend you in reading it.
